Snake Handlin', Canton, NC - 2012

My Saints lost yesterday, and their season is over. It was so frustrating because we lost to a good team, but certainly not a vastly superior team. We had it won. Twice. But the Saints' defense just isn't good enough to compete at the elite level. In the playoffs, that gets you a loss no matter how good the offense is. And so Saints fans' hearts, including mine, were left in San Francisco.
Deep inside I know it's just a football game, and in the big scheme of things it's meaningless. Still, I do get emotionally involved, and it takes me a little while to wind down, especially after a loss. I spent a little time dry-firing my Colt Diamondback in the backyard, just to get my mind on something besides the game. Something else that helps me relax is my photography. So why not self-indulge with a self-portrait? There now, I'm feeling a bit better already.

Now that's what I call a stress reliever. Great self portrait.
I'm really sorry the Saints lost. They are a terrific team but just didn't play their best game.
The 49ers are certainly scrappy and just made good on some mistakes.
Thanks for your advice on getting my Mojo back.
I did go out in the yard yesterday afternoon. Its hard walking with my gimpy knee though.
I know its excuses but I think we are finally at the turning point.
If we can get Dave over his horrendous cold and cough and finally get our closing on our refinance of this house (its been 2 1/2 months of jumping through hoops)we will be free to do a few things. Its suppose to happen this coming week.
Ok, this wasn't suppose to turn into a whole book.
Thanks friend and say hi to your wife too.
